So this is my congratulatory announcement to him. Great job! You've survived college and now have a B.A....Now, what was it you said? Something about going for a Phd?
There's good news and bad news for you hun...The good news? You're a third of the way done! Congratulations! Now all you have to do is survive another 3 or 4 years! Yay!
All joking aside, congratulations m'sieur! Can't wait to hear the stories..! and to see the pictures!

Yeah, 2-5 more years. And yeah, the Mother's Day thing wasn't exactly ideal.
Say, why am I only 1/3 of the way? I already have 5 years of higher education in, and 17 years total... what's a few more? (gulp)

Ha ha! In your own defense...: You'll do fine. You're of the breed that likes school. (Sibling mine, of the feminine kind, plans to go for a PhD...at which point I laughed...Hard!) If she can go to grad school (she wants to teach college english) then you, oh, Jason of the clan o'malli shall be fine.
Not that it wont be challenging...or amusing for those of us who'll follow your exploits. But that's another story for another day. (insert more laughter here)
